Message of Incharge Principal

Don Bosco College of Education is a home away from home. It is a temple of learning and home of cheerfulness. We vouch to provide holistic education to our dear teachers in the making, an education that is based on four pillars namely learning to know, learning to do, learning to live together, and learning to be.

We shall leave no stone unturned in providing an all-around formation which was proposed by the father of our nation as he rightly said “By education, I mean an all-round drawing out of the best in child and man-body, mind and spirit.

Our College Patron, Don Bosco’s education was directed towards self-discovery, forming character, holistic development, and preparing students in facing the challenges of life. Our system of Education is the Preventive System, which is based on assistance and accompaniment, and the educator is perceived as a father, mother, brother, sister, guide, friend, and protector.

Children of today are in need of an all-encompassing formation such as human formation physical formation, intellectual formation, emotional formation, spiritual formation, moral formation, and socialization. This can be achieved through effective teaching and learning process offered in the educational settings in an atmosphere of freedom from within and without and nurtured from the homely set up of school.

I feel proud to place before you dear teachers in the making, of ‘the preventive system of education’ proposed by Don Bosco. This system is tested and proven by history as astudent-friendly and effective pedagogical system in moulding and shaping the children to be spiritual and honest citizens.
